McCain Jokes About Beating Wife!

McCain is a walking gaffe machine.  Everybody knows it.  From confusing Shia with Sunni to saying that ending the Iraq War isn't "too important".  

Well McCain made a stupid joke recently when he gave an interview to the Las Vegas Sun.

McCain has a habit of saying TASTELESS JOKES.  In 1998 McCain told a joke that was extremely disgusting.  It was "Why is Chelse Clinton so ugly?  Because her father is Janet Reno."  http://www.salon.com/...

Well McCain has stuck his foot in his mouth once again.  In his interview to the Las Vegas Sun this is what transpired.

"I appreciate his support," McCain said. "As you know, the lieutenant governor is our chairman."

Why snub the governor? Ralston asked.

"I didn’t mean to snub him,. I've known the lieutenant governor for 15 years and we've been good friends," McCain said. "I didn't intend to snub him. There are other states where the governor is not the chairman."

Maybe it's the governor's approval rating and you are running from him like you are from the president? Asked Ralston in a question McCain clearly found loaded.

Said McCain, chuckling, "And I stopped beating my wife just a couple of weeks ago."

Some have found the subject of McCain's joke -- wife-beating -- inappropriate.

My philosophy is that McCain who cheated on his first wife extensively should stay away from cracking jokes about beating his wife.
