Maureen Dowd Gives Obama Some Love!

As we all know, Maureen Dowd whacked Obama in her last column as being an egghead elitist.  Although she still thinks he is, today's column she gave Obama some love...LOL!  Although she still chided him a little on what she considered his lackluster debate performance and his apparent nonchalant attitude of the possibility of being swiftboated with the Weather Underground guilt by association GOP smear, she basically said that Obama is "cool" and his learning from his mistakes.

In her Sunday column she complimented Obama's hiphop Jay-Z moment of brush "Dirt off your shoulder".  She also complimented Obama's train stop campaigning (I think Obama's trainstop campaigning is BRILLIANT since Obama is going directly to the people to hammer home his message!)

Her last paragraph says it all:

"...Even though his supporters raised Cain about ABC, Obama is smart enough to know he will need a better game against a canny war hero. Campaigning in Pennsylvania on Friday, he seemed eager to show he was not highfalutin. He said he and Michelle weren’t born with silver spoons; he shared how "burned up" he was when his sick mother could not get health insurance; he hugged a disabled veteran who thanked him for getting into the race, and he left a rally with a lusty "God Bless America."

He’s trying, as Jay-Z says, to get flow."

Yep, Obama is starting to get his flow back!
